The AR Max performs as expected, but it has some severe limitations to it's effectiveness.

The first problem is the loading time. It takes a long time. Then you have to wait again for the codes to load. I used a gameshark previously and didn't have to wait very long at all.

The second issue is that the codes are very limited. The people creating codes for the company produce a few very basic codes and that's that. If you want to add codes, it's likely you will need to look up codebreaker codes and convert them using software on your PC.

The codebreaker is superior product. It seems that is costs about $10 to $20 more (used as neither product seems to be available 'new') than the AR MAX though. It would have been worth it to me as I spent the money to purchase one anyway.

There are so many new features that make this version unique and interesting compared to others. One is the graphics which have been re-vamped with 3D textures built in with the classic sprite animations. A second is the new wide range of brand new Pokemon to capture and collect. Big fan of the classics? After one surpasses the Elite Four a new area is opened which is inhabited by all the originals for those old school players. A third great feature is the amount of activity. After the Pokemon League I had played for over 40 hours and that doesn't include the places available after the fact. The Battle Frontier is a facility where trainers just battle and is much better than in previous games with more challenges. All in all its a great game with tons to do, and everything is good the second time around. Only downside? Your "rival" is your best friend and is the most annoying rival ever. EVER. He has long dialogu and its all annoying. But he only takes up .1% of the game. Its a great game I recommend it to anyone who's gotta catch 'em all. 5 Stars on Sale!

Having the saves already setup by Datel can be beneficial since they set up their saves to AVOID achievements from unlocking out of order (which can gain the attention of MS and anyone looking at your gamerscore if unlocked out of order. IE, last level beaten before the first) and the software can automatically resign/rehash the saves so that they automatically work on your particular Xbox 360 (if you add your Xbox 360 console and gamer profile ID information to the included software).

This product has been satisfactory, thus far, but I had some difficulty in getting Action Replay MAX to recognize any of my 3 USB flash drives. This was a big problem, as the only reason I bought this program was to copy save games from the internet to my memory cards. Anyway, after doing some sleuthing on the web, I came across some instructions that worked perfectly for me on the first try!

(courtesy of Stone14 on the [...] forums, with a few of my edits)
These directions assume Windows XP (although they should be remarkably similar for other editions of Windows)

"you can use ANY size, brand, and style of USB flash drive (I'm using my mp3 usb drive) as long as
1. it's plug and play and
2. you follow these semi-simple steps to format your flash drive so that your ps2 will see it.

1 insert drive onto computer
2 click on start/settings/control panel
3 go to administrative tools
4 double click on computer management
5 click on storage/disk management(local)
6 find your flash drive (BE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT IT'S YOUR FLASH DRIVE)
7 right click on the area that says your flash drive's name AND has a blue stripe above it
*8 delete partition ((it will tell you that you'll lose all of your data stored on the drive)(hence why i said to make absolutely certain that the drive you're clicking on is in fact your usb flash drive)
9 right click on the now unallocated space where your drive was before
10 create new partition: in the popup it will give you some options; volume label, file system, allocation unit size, perform a quick format
11 volume label doesn't matter, file system has to be fat, allocation unit size has to be 16k, and you choose weather to quick format or not (I did just so you know)
12 after it's done just plug it into your ps2 usb port and away you go!!!!"

* - You may not have to delete the partition manually--I didn't. I just went right to the 'format' option when I right clicked on the area with the blue strip. All you really are trying to do is format your flash drive to FAT file system and allocation unit size of 16k. That's it!

I hope these instructions help someone out there. You DON'T have to buy the Action Replay flash drive in order to transfer files...your flash drive will work, but you have to be willing to reformat it to FAT (which WILL erase all of the files on it, so move them or back them up first BEFORE you click 'format')

Cumbersome, awkward controls. Stiff, robotic and unnatural animation. Sub-par graphic design. It reminded me of a 3rd person version of the 1997 N64 game Goldeneye, more than anything else. I read a comment in 'The Official Xbox Magazine' in their review of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 2- Substance: "It's good, but it's no Splinter Cell." I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. They're acutally 100% correct, but not in the way they meant it. The demo made it painfully obvious that Splinter Cell isn't worthy to scrape the grime from under MGS's toenails. If you want to play a quality stealth/action game, skip this weak attempt and go for the King of the Genre, MGS.

Okay, EA Replay - great idea ! But WHY some of these CRAP titles?
They could have at least done Realm of Impossibility, Axis Assasin, Bird vs Dr.J !! Even without updating them, THESE are the great EA games of old. ARCHON, even. And futhermore, PSP would have been a great place to update these games as well.
Road rash = great pick. (unbelievable original music left out). Only good thing on this title.
EA has the right idea....but HORRIBLE choice of games and HORRIBLE editing of original music. OMG, who is in charge of this company ? Pitiful.

It’s never been easier to take Pokémon with you! Pokéwalker The Pokéwalker counts the number of steps you take as you walk around. The more steps you take, the more Watts you earn, which you can spend to find items and Pokémon! When you transfer a Pokémon from your game into your Pokéwalker, you can select which Route you’d like to take your Pokémon along. Depending on which Route you take (such as in a grassland or by the sea), you’ll encounter different wild Pokémon and find remarkable items. When you first begin your journeys with the Pokéwalker, the list of Routes you can select from is short. Remember, if you catch a fourth Pokémon in your Pokéwalker, you’ll have to swap out one of the three Pokémon you’ve already caught. The Pokéwalker Journal After your Pokémon has spent some time in your Pokéwalker, you can get a recap in the Pokéwalker Journal. The journal tells of all the places the Pokémon has been and the things it has found while traveling inside your Pokéwalker! For example, if you catch a particular Pokémon while out on a Stroll, your Pokéwalker Journal will make note of it. It will also keep track of how your Pokémon has behaved while inside your Pokéwalker! Pokéwalkers Communicate with Each Other! The Pokéwalkers don’t communicate only with Game Cards—they can also communicate with each other! When you connect Pokéwalkers with a friend, you’ll both receive an item as a gift! !1: Best Buy I have to say when I first opened this product I was excited. It was the best Pokemon game I have ever seen compared to the Pokemon gold that I had for gameboy many years ago. There are a lot of new features, such as able to go back to Kanto which was a great plus to the game and able to catch a lot more legendary Pokemon then other games. The beginning wasn't so great training the Pokemon but once you started to get into the game you can't stop playing it. I did have a little hold back about the elite four because it was very tough to deal with because of the amount of trainers while still in Johto. There aren't enough to raise your Pokemon's level high enough but that still gives a great challenge to the game. This game is definitely about strategy, and how patient you can be. I would recommend this product for at least 10 years or older. I am 15 years old but I have to say Pokemon is one of my favorites. Long live Pokemon! on Sale!

I installed the action replay to the psp and it worked to fine until I decided to update to the current firmware version. That version for me currently was version 6.31. I tried reinstalling and it still won't work. This product is now useless. I doubt that datel will release an update to get this thing working on my psp and if they do it will be a matter of time before it stops working on a later firmware version. This product should work on my psp not what firmware update I have running. I wish there was a code breaker. I know that it would work. After all no other ps one and ps2 cheat device worked on my version of the ps3 and after numerous firmware updates it still works. I have heard that it is how it is coded. Codebreaker hard codes their cheat devices while the others doesn't. Action replay soft codes theirs and as long they do, it will keep not working. I should have expected this from datel. Check your firmware version and don't buy this product if you have firmware version 6.30 or higher. Remember if you don't update your firmware you may not be able to use the playstion store on the psp. That did happen to me before. If you are OK with that then by all means don't update the firmware.

Set in the chillingly possible future of 2054, Steven Spielberg's Minority Report is arguably the most intelligently provocative sci-fi thriller since Blade Runner. Like Ridley Scott's "future noir" classic, Spielberg's gritty vision was freely adapted from a story by Philip K. Dick, with its central premise of "Precrime" law enforcement, totally reliant on three isolated human "precogs" capable (due to drug-related mutation) of envisioning murders before they're committed. As Precrime's confident captain, Tom Cruise preempts these killings like a true action hero, only to run for his life when he is himself implicated in one of the precogs' visions. Inspired by the brainstorming of expert futurists, Spielberg packs this paranoid chase with potential conspirators (Max Von Sydow, Colin Farrell), domestic tragedy, and a heartbreaking precog pawn (Samantha Morton), while Cruise's performance gains depth and substance with each passing scene. Making judicious use of astonishing special effects, Minority Report brilliantly extrapolates a future that's utterly convincing, and too close for comfort. --Jeff Shannon

!1: Best Buy Loosely based on a story by Philip K. Dick (as many great sci-fi movies have been), "Minority Report" is one of my favorite sci-fi movies. With excellent direction and visuals by Steven Spielberg along with great acting by Tom Cruise, Samantha Morton, and others, it's an enjoyable movie for all. The story provides some interesting questions about life on a basic level, as well as what direction technology is headed.

Cruise plays Chief John Anderton, the head of a new pre-crime police unit in Washington DC in 2054. They are an experimental unit which arrests people based on crimes which they "will" perpetrate, as opposed to ones that they have done. They have three special individuals called pre-cogs who have visions of crimes that have not occurred yet. Based on these visions, the police arrest the people before they have a chance to commit the crimes. This raises the question - can we change the future or is it all pre-determined? It's the old question of predestination vs. free will, but played out in a rather fascinating and different way. If we can read people's thoughts (like some practical science is getting closer and closer to) or predict their future, how much can we really act on it?

Anderton believes strongly in the system and defends it to Danny Witwer (Colin Farrell), who is sent by the government to investigate the unit before pre-crime goes national. Witwer digs up dirt on Anderton, discovering that he's into some illegal drugs, likely as a result of the disappearance of his son years ago. Things get truly complicated for Anderton when the pre-cogs have a vision of him killing someone who he doesn't even know. He is forced to run and work on his own in order to clear his name. Can he prevent the vision from becoming reality? Is it possible that the vision is wrong? Why would he kill someone he doesn't even know?

I find this movie enjoyable even on subsequent viewings, though naturally there are some twists which are best during the first viewing. Still, the acting is great and the effects are stunning at times. There are chases which get you on the edge of your seat. It is an entertaining mix of action, science fiction, and crime drama. I highly recommend this movie to anyone interested at all in any of those genres. on Sale!

The codes are a bunch of numbers and letters, it takes you over 2 hours to put in one code. Codes only give u stuff like infinite lives and extra characters, who in the right mind would want that junk on their game. The price is to much.... it should be [less]. Also it doesn't work on my super nintendo. Datel cant make cheat systems, they should jump of a bridge. Don't by this...instead go by the amazing Etch-A-Sketch.

This item is/was worth every penney, and you can connect broadband internet ethernet on the back of you PS2 insert a flash drive to the front of the PS2 and download the updates automatically or manually, depending on your personal setting. We love this CD. One word of warning, this disk is sold to work only in the region you are in(ie,USA, Europe,Asia etc) as does your electronic(PS2, Tv etc) it will not work in other regions electronic etc. So when and if you decide to buy this CD make sure it is the one compatible with the region you live in or you will do like me and mail it back for the correct one.
